Yvonne Lela Bush

BUSH, Yvonne Lela, 82, entered into rest on December 13, 2016 in Altamonte Springs, FL. Yvonne was born in San Francisco, CA to William Warner and Annie (Moses) Whitehorn, Sr. Her family were immigrants from Russia and Hungary. She was born of the Jewish faith and attended Hebrew school, but became a Christian when she met and married her husband Dawson Harold Bush in 1951. She moved to Orlando in 1963 from San Francisco, CA. Dawson was with FPL so they moved to many cities in Florida and finally settled in Ft. Meade, FL in 1995.Yvonne was a homemaker and loved to sew and knit. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dawson; brother William Warner Whitehorn, Jr. and sister Paullette June Whitehorn. Yvonne is survived by her children, Robert P. (Patricia) Bush and Linda (Reggie) Collier; sister, Madelin Searson; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation for Yvonne will be 5:30-7:30, Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Baldwin Fairchild West Altamonte Chapel, 90 Weathersfield Ave., Altamonte Springs, FL, 32714. Funeral Services will be 2 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
