Barbara Hampton was born January 15, 1936 in Mobeetie, Texas to Joseph and Ruth Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Claude Clarence Hampton.

She is survived by her daughters Melanie Lynn Parra and Lisa Hampton Dawson and husband James E. Dawson. Grandchildren Michelle Parra Roos, M'Lynn Parra Mooney, Daniel Hampton Dawson, Adam Robert Dawson, Alexandra Melanie Dawson along with six great grandchildren.
