Bert Blankenship

Bert was born September 11, 1924 in Tupelo. Oklahoma to Charles and Lillian Blankenship. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and piddling around in his garden. He loved traveling with his wife Bobbye and a group of friends. He was an avid OU fan who loved watching any and all sports. In his younger days he enjoyed traveling with the rodeo. His family was the most important thing to him. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Denis Blankenship, along with seven brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Bobbye, his children Berta Jo Proctor and husband Doug, Butch Blankenship and wife Diana, Twyla Moore and husband Mike, and Arlena Buck and husband Richard. One sister Nora Witt. Sixteen grandchildren and twenty nine great- grandchildren along with many loving family members and friends.
