Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 East I-40 with Chaplain Sherman Eastland officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East.

Betty was born December 4, 1940 in Plainview to S.L. and Marjorie Dodson Qualls. She married John Homer Hart June 6, 1959. Betty was a housewife, and mother who had a great love of animals and nature. She looked forward to their family camping trips each year. Betty was very nurturing, always thinking of others before herself. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved tennis. Betty was the rock of the family who loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She will be deeply missed.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

Betty is survived by her husband John Homer Hart, 2 sons, Kenneth and Darrin Hart both of Amarillo; a daughter, Pamela Caskey and husband Joe of Dumas; a sister, Lynda Harrison of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Kristin Caskey and a grandson, Joey Caskey and wife Katy of Amarillo; 2 great-grandchildren, Piper and Joey of Amarillo

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Amarillo Humane Society or S.P.C.A.
