

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 at The Church of Christ at the Colonies, 4500 Wesley Rd, with Mr. Dick Marcear, Hahn Kite and Rhett Morgan officiating.
Burial will be at Llano Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell.
Billy “Bill” Gene Brigman was born September 5, 1929 in Wheeler to Jess and Mildred Brigman. He grew up in Wheeler and went to work in the oilfield when he was 16. Bill married the former Carroll Morgan on August 24, 2002. He loved fishing at the lake, traveling and camping. Bill was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed old westerns, such as “Gunsmoke” and watching the “Price Is Right” on TV. Bill loved his Lord and blessed those around him. He could always find the good in people and always had a kind word to say to them to make them feel welcomed. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bill is survived by his wife, Carroll; a son, Mark Brigman and wife Sherri of Amarillo, a daughter, Marisa Brigman-Kennedy of Amarillo; Step-sons, Rodney Joe Morgan and wife Kerry of Amarillo and Bradd Morgan and wife Dedra of Amarillo; step-daughters, Debra Vogt of Dallas, Dianne Hammer and husband Tommy of Tennessee and Brenda Fields and husband Brad of Panhandle; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Doris Faye Brigman, a sister and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the funeral home.
