Bruce Coller was born in Greenfield, MA, and lived a blessed life with his sweetheart, Janette, for 62 years. He joined the Air Force at a young age, and while stationed in Amarillo he met the love of his life. They met at the skating rink when Janette was just 16. It was sweet love for them, and they were married when Bruce was just 23 and Janette was 17. He was transferred to Georgia where he was a jet mechanic for the Air Force. After his time in the Air Force, Bruce took his young wife to Greenfield, MA where they lived until they moved to South Carolina in 2000, then to Amarillo in 2018.
Bruce loved the outdoors. As a young boy he would often go on his bike with some friends, taking his rifle to go target shooting. While living in Massachusetts he would often be found at their lake house outside or boating, many times on the sailboat. Bruce and Janette also lived on a beautiful lake in South Carolina.
Bruce was a man of many talents. He was a jet mechanic, then worked as a friction welder for Kinematics Corporation. While there, he made machine parts. some of which even went to the moon! He also worked as a purchasing manager in South Carolina. He excelled at everything he did.
Bruce was also skilled in computers and electronics. He could often be found taking something apart, then putting it back together to make it more efficient. He would put computers together and network them so he could access them all. If something broke, or just quit working, he would take it apart to see what was wrong, then find the parts he needed to repair it and make it better.
He will be missed greatly by his wife, Janette Coller, nieces Ranaye Verdu and Regina Mejia with their families, nephews Johnny Holland and Kenneth Holland with their families, and cousins.
