Buck was born on July 15, 1938, in Amarillo, Texas, to Joe and Mary Pfeiffer Morton. He married the love of his life, Sandra McLaughlin, on July 26, 1957. Together they shared 68 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
Buck enjoyed staying busy throughout his life. Whether working at AT&T, tinkering with projects around the house, building street trikes, or lending a helping hand to neighborhood children who affectionately knew him as "Grandpa Buck," he was happiest when serving others. He was a kind, loving, and generous man who never hesitated to help anyone in need.
An outdoorsman at heart, Buck enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, dune buggies and more. He cherished the many adventures and memories he made with family and friends.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Heritage Convalescent for the loving care, compassion, and support provided during Buck's time in their care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BSA Hospice of the Southwest or Heritage Convalescent.
