Catherine "Cathy" Ann Blea

Rosary will take place on Friday June 21st at St Hyacinth’s Catholic Church at 7:00 PM; 4500 W. Hills Trail with Deacon Bobbie Welch presiding. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11 am in St Hyacinth’s Church with Father Guadalupe Mayorga presiding. The family will receive guests after services Saturday at St. Stephens Methodist church for lunch and shared memories.

Cathy was born July 2, 1952 in Tucumcari, NM to Francisco (Frank) and Julia Garcia. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Some of her favorite joys in life included fishing, gambling, and attending her grandchildren’s assorted performances. She loved to cheer them on and was typically their loudest and most lively supporter.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Felix Blea, two daughters Denise Moore and husband Rodney and Julie Virden and husband Kenny, son, Gary Garcia all of Amarillo; three granddaughters, one grandson and two step grandsons; her mother Julia Garcia and two sisters, Loraine Otero and Veronica Moore and husband Larry, of Tucumcari; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Francisco Garcia, and brother Frank Garcia both of Tucumcari.
