Born on March 4, 1948, to Richard and Faye DeBault, Ron is survived by his two sons, Ryan DeBault and wife Susan, and Michael DeBault and wife Brooke. His legacy continues through his seven beloved grandchildren: Jordan, Gaven, Ascher, Jude, Joshua, Matthew, and Christian. Additionally, he is remembered by his brother, Darryl DeBault.
Ron dedicated 41 years of his life to a distinguished career in the natural gas industry, serving as a dedicated mechanic and repairman. His colleagues consistently praised his exceptional work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. Transitioning seamlessly from his professional talents, Ron's passion for precision and craftsmanship extended into his love for building and working on classic cars. A passionate "car guy" throughout his life, Ron found joy in creating custom masterpieces, showcasing his 1955 Chevy Belaire and 1965 Chevelle at car shows where he proudly secured several "best in show" awards.
In Ron's early years, he spent summers in New Mexico, where Auntie Mae and Uncle Lee played the role of a second set of parents, offering a nurturing environment. During this time, his cousins Roger Lee and Carlene became cherished siblings in their close-knit family. Known for his infectious sense of humor, Ron had a natural talent for making people laugh. Whether it was leaving humorous notes about his bosses at work or orchestrating pranks that brought laughter to those around him, Ron's spirit was uplifting.
In addition to his career and personal interests, Ron was a generous soul, always ready to provide both financial support and a helping hand to those in need. When it came to fixing things for people, Ron had an unmatched skill, ensuring that any task entrusted to him was completed with precision and efficiency. His dedication to philanthropy was evident in his passion for contributing to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a cause that touched his heart deeply.
A devoted grandfather, Ron showered his grandchildren with love and generosity during birthdays and holidays, earning the affectionate title of "Papa Ron." He possessed a unique ability to make each of his grandchildren feel truly special and deeply loved. Ron also cherished every opportunity to visit his extended family in New Mexico and going to family reunions, taking pride in sharing stories about his incredible relatives. His presence brought joy and warmth to every gathering.
