Clarence T. Moyers, 83 of Amarillo passed away June 6, 2012 in Amarillo. Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2012 at St. Martin Catholic Church with Monsignor Rex Nichols as celebrant. Mass of Christian burial will be at Llano Cemetery under the direction of Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell Amarillo, Texas. Clarence T. Moyers was born January 8, 1929 in Crosbyton to Oscar and Mable Moyers. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Clarence worked as a bricklayer and later sold real estate here in Amarillo. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Moyers in 2007; brothers, Bill and Durwood Moyers; sisters, Lucille McGee and Nettie Ann Brunson; and his parents. Clarence is survived by his brother, Howard Moyers of Carlsbad, New Mexico; sisters, Hettie Mann of Amarillo and Mary Beth Doss of Tahoka, Oklahoma; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
