Cloe was preceded in death by her Grandma Alice Shockley “mama” who helped raise her, her parents, Clarence Dunlap and Alma Faye Sinclair, sisters Gladys Underwood, Winnie Spears, and Maye Fisher. Also gone before her were her late husbands Mike Michelini and Lloyd Walker, and her children Barry Smith and Linda Smith.
She is survived by her children, Carla Carney, Jamie Jones-Baker, Michael David Killion, Jackie Stewart, and Sandra Parker. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren (Hoby, Jill, Barron, Edward, Shane, Alex, Robbie, Jenny, Kris, Johnny, Marissa, Bonnie, and Dillon), 18 great grandchildren, as well as many great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews that proudly continue her legacy.
In her lifetime, Cloe completed high school in the class of 1942 as Salutatorian, mastered shorthand and sewing, and worked diligently for US Customs and the FAA. She volunteered with the Amarillo High School Alumni Committee, Volunteer Senior Citizens, Retired FAA employees event organizer, and was a Toastmistress. She thoroughly enjoyed Elvis, the Dallas Cowboys, dancing, bingo, shopping, and going to the casino to play the slot machines. Cloe was full of joy and poured her love into her family and all those around her, even animals. She was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed.
Services will be at Memorial Park in Amarillo, Tx at 2:00pm on Friday, August 19, 2022 with internment immediately following.
