Colton Jack Vaughn

Colton Jack Vaughn, 11 of Amarillo passed away September 6, 2013. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Hillside Christian Church South Campus by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell. Colton was born November 29, 2001 in Amarillo. He was very active in athletics in Amarillo. He played baseball with North Randall County, Kids Inc. and the West Texas Baseball League. Colton also played basketball and football with Kids Inc. He also loved to hunt and fish not only with his friends but also with his best friend, his Papa. Colton always had a big smile on his face and was loved by so many. He will be forever missed by all who knew him and loved him. Colton was preceded in death by his cousin, Bryson Waldhelm and his great-grandmother, Nora Jeane Geffken. Survivors include his mother, Amanda Vaughn; his mom, Suzie Tolbert; father, Mike Mason; brothers, Clayton Vaughn and Bill Tolbert; sisters, Bailey Mason, Katrina Gallegos and Kristen Tolbert; his papa, Jack Geffken; grandfather, Rodney Waldhelm; grandmothers, Dawn Waldhelm and Verna Lewis; aunt, Jennifer Geffken and Michelle White; uncle, Sean White; cousin, Vanessa Waldhelm; nephews, Emory, Levi and Ruzic; also by his extended baseball family.
