Darren Ray “D Ray” 28, of Amarillo passed away February 13, 2018. Darren was born on August 2, 1989 to Rodger David and Donna Goss Landes. Darren was a fun loving, kind, sweet man who loved his family fiercely; his children were the most important to him. He enjoyed knitting, duct tape, video games, Legos, and building Gundam’s. He played football at Amarillo High School; he was a gentle giant but a beast on the football field. He was a hardworking man who was always there to lend a helping hand.
In lieu of flowers donations, can be made to the Educational Fund for Sampson and Daurielle Landes at Happy State Bank; online to Compassion International or Juvenial Diabetes Foundation in honor of Darren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reverend John Goss Jr and Dortha, Richard and Marie Landes, and Uncle Jack Goss.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, brother Dalton Landes and partner Dave Hickam, sister Donisha Landes, his children Sampson and Daurielle Landes, the mother of his children Michelle Thomas, his wife Zsuzanna Bekessy Landes. Along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
