Donald “Don” Charles Moreau joined Gods Angels at his throne on October 1, 2021. He was the son of Clayton “Bud” Charles Moreau. And Margaret “Marge” Simone Girard Moreau .He was born on July 27, 1954 in Springfield, Massachusetts where he Graduated from Technical High School in 1972. Don joined and proudly served in the United States Air Force in December 1976 until December 1980 earning the rank of Sergeant.He was stationed at Good fellow Airforce Base in San Angelo, Texas . He said “I joined the Airforce to see the world and they sent me to Texas!” Texas became his world! He moved to Amarillo where he achieved 2 Associate Degrees in 1982 from Amarillo College . On October 12, 1991 Don married his “Love of a Lifetime“ Lodena Selman Johnson Moreau. Don was a humble, Loyal, dedicated, and loving man which he applied to every aspect of his life. He was blessed with an amazing Intuitiveness to the needs of others and always acted accordingly. A man of few words but the words he spoke had a genuine meaning . He would do anything for anybody. He Always accepted everyone for who they were. He shared his mother’s belief that the worth of a man is not what he posses but who he is. His family was his life , he cherished being dad to his two boys but he especially adored being "Pipa Don " to his eight Grandchildren who were the light of his life and the sparkle in his great smile. Don worked as a recreational therapist at Kilgore Children’s Hospital for 5-years. He was a machinist at Amarillo Gear for 18 years and a Machinist at DonNan in Midland, Texas for 14 years where he retired in July 2019. In September 2018 Don became the founding CEO for 1Point Vascular in Amarillo Texas.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Bud and Marge Moreau of Springfield, Ma. and his eldest sister Judith Mae Biggs of New Port Richey, Fl.
He is survived by his loving wife, his sons Wesley Johnson and wife Andrea and Ryan Johnson and wife Jessica .Two sisters Doretta Lynn Moreau of West Hampton, MA., and Jeanne Marie Jerrold of Pine town , SC . His Eight grandchildren Courtney, Crystal, Carly , Chance, Atticus, Ryleigh, and Lillian Johnson and Michael Beard. Numerous Nephews and Nieces. Seven grand dogs and two grand cats.
