Donna L. Dallas

Donna met and married Harvey Dallas on July 18, 1953 in Raton, NM. Harvey preceded her in death on October 30, 2021.

The Family moved to Amarillo in 1972. They returned to Johnson Mesa, NM every August for the Annual Family Reunion and to Celebrate the

Johnson Mesa Church which was built in 1897. There were often as

many as 100 families coming to Celebrate.

Bowling was a favorite family entertainment with Donna and Harvey getting all the children and grandchildren on Bowling Leagues and spending quality time with them.

Donna was an avid Bingo lover. Before her illness, she, Harvey and daughter Sharon would travel by D & H Bus Tours to Albuquerque Isleta Bingo.

Donna was a Christian and raised her 4 children to be honest, responsible, hardworking members of society.

Also surviving Donna, are her 3 children. A daughter, Sharon Payne;

sons Tim and wife, Ginny, of Amarillo; son, Faron Dallas; and a sister Jean Mobley, of Maxwell, NM.

Surviving grandchildren: Aaron Dallas and girlfriend Chelsea Simmons; Jaime and husband Sean Weathersbee; and Abby Dallas; Chad and wife Kelly Mahan. Great Grandchildren: Jayden, Trinidy and Alivia.

Bailey Mahan, Channing Mahan and fiance Tyler Barber; Kiley and Eastin Kelley.

Donna was preceded in death by her son Dale Dallas and daughter-in-law Elaine; son-in-law Herbie Payne; her parents Joseph and Ella Young; 4 brothers, Jimmy, Billy, Robert and Butch; 2 sisters Betty and Carol; and 2 twin grandsons.

Visitation with Family will be Thursday, February 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 1-40 and Whitaker Rd. in Amarillo. A Memorial service will be February 11 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
