Donna Day

Donna Belle Day was born July 26th, 1922 to Nolan and Maye Murr in Amarillo, Texas. She attended Soncy School, and Amarillo High. She married James Walter Day, August 5th, 1939. Through this marriage, brought forth four children.

She passed away March 15th, 2017, at Prairie House Living Center, Plainview, Texas at 8:40 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations are to be sent to Prairie House Living Center, Plainview, TX and Area Community Hospice of Plainview, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, James Day, three grandchildren: Tammy Chisum, David Venske, Kevin McCaskill, four great grandchildren: Rose Venske, Michele Medlin, Corey Barham, and Gino Venske and one brother: Nolan Murr.

She is survived by her children: Roanna Eason, Dianna Carter, and Beverly and J.B. McCaskill, and one sister: Lena Love. Grandchildren: James and Monica Venske, Deborah and Mark Wade, Nolan and Cara Venske, Shelly and Shawn Morrison, Ronald Chisum, Beverly and Scotty Mooneyham, Christy and Tim Barham, Bryan and Stephanie Medlin, Justin and Laney Day, Luke and Lyndsey Day, and Jimmy and Erin McCaskill. She is also survived by twenty-two great grand-children and one great-great-grand child.
