Dorothy Anna Gray, 80 of Amarillo passed away April 21, 2016. Monday April 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Pastor Jerry Davey Officiating. Burial will Monday April 25, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 East I-40l. Dorothy Anna Gray was born May 19, 1935 to Vernon Berry and Margaret Jane McCormick in Potter County, Texas. She graduated from Amarillo High in 1953. She then started her career in Book keeping with Tri State Bakery followed by a long term employment with Affiliated foods and then retired from Johnson Moore and associates. Dottie, was a life time member of Beta Sigma Phi joining in 1960. She obtained the master degree and was charter member of Texas Gamma Phi Master Chapter. While in sorority she held all chapter offices several times, and worked on all committees. She served on the Amarillo Beta Sigma Phi state convention board in 1972, and served on the Beta Sigma Phi City Council board. She was elected City Wide outstanding girl in 1973. She has received all chapter honors including queen being presented at the Valentine Ball. She is preceded in death by her parents Vernon Berry and Margaret Jane McCormick and a brother Jim Berry. She is survived by her two sons Larry Gray and wife Tammie; Berry Gray and wife Kimberlee; grandchildren Danielle and husband Freddie Osorio of Massachusetts; Damian Gray of Massachusetts; Micheal Shelton of Amarillo; Allison Gray of Amarillo; Berry Gray Jr and wife Leslie; Derek Gray and wife Shareasa; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
