

Earl Emanuel Green Jr. was born January 7, 1932 in Amarillo to Earl and Mary Green , and went home to his Lord on September 30, 2015. Spider Green started to work at an early age, selling newspapers to help support the family. He graduated from Amarillo High in 1950. He began working for the U.S. Postal Service I April 1951. He met and married Mattie Sue Scott, the love of his life in 1956. Earl and Mattie adopted their two children from the Edna Gladney Home in l963 and 1965. This was their proudest moments, and the start of the growth of the Green family. Preceded in death by Mattie in 1988, Earl retired from the Post Office in 1989. He then found his passion which was working as a school crossing guard for 19 years. He loved going to see”those little ones” everyday, considering this a privilede, not a job. Earl loved the simple things. He was a devoted family man and an avid sports fan. He was also a fifty plus year Master Mason. Earl had a Gruff voice, that masked a very kind heart. He was preceded in death by his wife Mattie, his parents Earl and Mary Green, a sister Wanda Massengale, a brother Dennis Green, and great niece Holly Moss. Survivors include a son William Terry Green {Judy}, a daughter Patricia Gail Rameriz, Grandchildren Mark Rameriz, Crecynthia Rameriz, Erin Heisler (Aaron). Great Grandchildren Isabell Ramirez, Isaiah Ramirez, Makyah Ramirez, Layton Ramirez, Tylee Heisler, and Lilly Heisler. Two nieces Naoma Gay Moss, Priscilla Jones, and numerous great nieces and nephews Iris Burkett, Lance Fenter, Bear Fenter, and Mechael Stephens.
