

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Washington Avenue Christian Church with Pastor Jim Shelburne officiating.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell.
Edith was born December 12, 1918 to Orville Clyde and Bertha Henry in Floydada, Texas. She passed from this life on September 15, 2014. She grew up and went to school in House, NM. Edith married Burnice Massey January 20, 1940. She was a long time member of Washington Avenue Christian Church for over 50 years serving in many ministries and was involved in the Evening Circle program there in the church. Edith enjoyed cooking and looking after her family. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Edith was preceded in death by hers parents, her husband, Burnice Massey and 10 siblings.
Edith is survived by a son, Harvey Massey and wife Kathy of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Wanda Erwin and husband Grady and Sandra Smith of Amarillo; a sister, Gene Terry and husband Merle of Clovis and sister-in-law, Jo Henry also of Clovis; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
