Elmer L. Tibbs

He was born in Centerville, Tennessee on August 21, 1939 to Elmer and Celia Tibbs. He was married to Saundra and later in life to Fay.

Lee worked odd jobs until he was employed by Amarillo Gear and worked until he retired at age 62. After retirement, he worked part time for Coffee Memorial Blood Center. Lee was a faithful servant of God and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene for 59 years. During this time, he was a bus driver for the church, usher and a greeter. Lee also enjoyed going to garage sales, bowling, tinkering with cars and those Dallas Cowboys.

Lee was preceded by death by his parents Elmer Tibbs and Celia Anderson, wife Saundra, wife Fay, siblings Ralph Anderson, Floyd Tibbs, Shirley James, Ray Anderson and daughter Robyn Taylor.

He is survived by siblings Larry Tibbs and Joyce Ann Tibbs, son Randy (Diana) and stepdaughter Tracy McCall (Mickey). Five grandchildren Melissa, Suzanne, Carson, Cody and Michael. Four great grandchildren Emily, Brooklyn, Brandon and Kane.
