Their next child was born after a move back to Phoenix in April 1976. His only Grandson was born in June of 2000 in Arizona. He loved his dogs Lucky and Bella. He provided for and protected his family for his entire life.

He was a natural leader and appreciated his job and the people he worked with.

Butch Loved the Lord, his Family, and Friends. He loved being outdoors, hiking, hunting, bungie jumping, metal detecting, gold panning and country music. Recently he bought an off road travel trailer and with his wife and children had plans for spending time on the dirt roads in the desert. He knew I-40 like the back of his hand, with many trips on the road back and forth, somewhat of a trucker at heart.

Butch, was an awesome brother. I have very fond memories of him and loved when we got to visit and chat. I remember once we went dove hunting (Butch, Walt, Chris and me) and ran over a rock and dented the fly wheel cover on mom's car. I was so worried we would never get home that day.
But we did and also got the cover fixed. Damn, I am going to miss you. "Rest in Peace Butch" and may your presence and love always be with us.
Love You,
Danny

I’ve known Butch since we were kids, about 55 years. He was a great ball player, I remember writing him letters when he was in the military. He had the best smile and gave great hugs. Our families were neighbors for years. His sisters babysat my sister Leigh and I, and we babysat their kids along with his younger brother and sister, Becky and Danny. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family. He was much too young to leave this earth. God must have a better plan. Love you Butch. Rest In Peace.

I only knew and worked with Butch for a short time. I was referred to Butch for help on a project. He jumped right in and did everything he could to help, even though he didn't even know who I was at the time. I could tell he was well respected by his co-workers and his knowledge was valuable. Thoughts and prayer to the family.
