Ezequel “Zeke” Garcia 37 of Amarillo went to be with our father in heaven on May 9, 2013. Those left behind to cherish his memories are the loves of his life, his wife Kimberly, his daughters, his parents and brothers.
He was a truck driver and was a wonderful husband, dad, son and brother to all who knew him. He and his wife bought a house when they were married and together they remodeled it into a home. He finally had the life he had been searching for, though it was short, he had his daughter Angel. She was the apple in his eye. Zeke also had a daughter, Mariah Lara, that he loved very much. His in-laws loved him like their own. He was such a bright person and he touched the lives of everyone he met. His smile would bring a little ray of sunshine to your day. Zeke will be very much missed and always loved. The world is going to be much darker without his bright smile.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Woodring and an aunt, Marylynn Pendergraft.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters; his parents, Saul and Charlotte Otero; three brothers, Charlie Garcia and wife Elizabeth, Richard Garcia and wife Mayra and Saul Otero Jr.; his grandmother, Bertha Lucero; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
