Frank grew up in Amarillo and attended Bowie Middle School and Caprock High School. It was at Caprock where he met the love of his life, JoAnn, with whom he shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and raised two sons, Frank A. Salazar Jr. and Moses Salazar. Frank worked for Tyson Foods for over 30 years before retiring in 2007. After a brief five-year break, he returned to what he truly enjoyed—working with his hands and fixing anything that needed repair. He served as a maintenance technician at Brighton Court and Country Club Villas, where his skills and dedication were deeply appreciated. Known affectionately among his family as “the collector,” Frank could repair just about anything and always seemed to have exactly what you needed. He was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and grill-master. Frank cherished his grandchildren and found his greatest joy in the moments spent with them. His love for his family was constant, steady, and wholeheartedly given.
