In her earlier years, Gala loved racing Volkswagen Beetles and roller skating at every opportunity. Gala was an avid fanatic of Elvis Presley, she will even have him singing her favorite tunes in her honor at her graveside service. Gala was a woman of love who had a special calling for caring and loving of children. Gala fostered children for nearly three decades, showing a love to the children who needed it the most. That love continued all of her life, always being a part of and being a role model for her grandchildren. Gala will be sorely missed by all who were blessed enough to have known her.
