

Georgia Anne Lewis, 86, of Denver, Colorado passed peacefully from this world on November 8, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas. She was born on December 28, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, to Guy and Frances Miles. Georgia married the love of her life, William “Bill” Lewis, and together they shared 53 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and adventure. They especially enjoyed taking their children on camping trips and long road trips, creating lasting memories along the way. In their later years, Georgia and Bill continued their love of travel, taking numerous cruises and even a memorable trip to Spain. Georgia worked for many years at JCPenney, where she made lifelong friends before eventually retiring. She and Bill cherished time spent playing games and cards with their close friends and were devoted members of a bowling league for over 40 years. Georgia continued to bowl well into her 80s, staying active and connected with the friends she loved. Georgia’s kindness, joy, and sense of fun made her a delight to be around, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her stepsons, Bill Lewis and wife Debby, and Dave Lewis; her daughter, Connie Thompson and husband Rob; her stepdaughter, Margaret Allshouse and husband John, daughter-in-law; Tacy Keyes, 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Lewis; her son, Gary Keyes; and her parents, Frances and Guy Miles.
Georgia leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
