Grace “Boots” Vinyard passed away August 29, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors 5400 Bell St. Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Llano Cemetery.
She was born February 17, 1927 in McLean, Texas to Walter and Thyra Smith. She loved spending time with her family, especially her son Jackie. She was a wonderful, caring, giving mother who never missed a den meeting or a sports event. She enjoyed collecting dolls, sewing and many other crafts. She worked at Potter County Tax office for 5 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Vinyard Sr, and a child Baby Vinyard in 1954.
She is survived by her loving son Jack Vinyard Jr, stepdaughter Susan Steen, nieces Jimi Beth Metzger and D’Ann Smith. Lifetime friends Rodney Gipson and wife Michelle.
