Hal Richardson, 78 of Amarillo passed away October 27, 2012 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery North Mausoleum Chapel with Bishop Brock Lovett of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as officiant. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Hal was born September 17, 1934 in Mountain Home, Utah to Glen and May Richardson. He grew up around Idaho Falls, Idaho but moved to Texas in 1958. Hal married June Humphrey on March 18, 1960 in Amarillo. He worked for Merchant’s Freight as a truck driver for more that 32 years. Hal love the outdoors who enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Hal and June also loved to bowl. Hal was a loving husband, brother and uncle and will be truly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Hal was preceded in death by his father; and his brothers, Gale and Gary Richardson. Hal is survived by his wife, June Richardson of Amarillo; his mother, May Hensen of Providence, Utah; nieces, Roxy Bassett and husband Mike of Providence, Utah and Christy Cook of Salt Lake City, Utah; also by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
