

He was born in Archer City, Texas, on November 17, 1940, to Harmon and Louise Fricks. Bruce married Sandy Park, R.N., on May 2, 1970, and together they built a loving family and shared many happy years. They were blessed with two children, daughter Stephanie Fricks Raum and son Howard Brent Fricks. Bruce attended Clarendon College and West Texas State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, joining on July 20, 1960, and was stationed in San Diego, California. A hardworking and dedicated man, Bruce owned and operated his own pest control service for many years. He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures: researching family trees, gardening, camping, traveling with family, and especially spending time with his wife, children, and grandchild.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Lee Fricks; son, Howard Brent Fricks and wife Mel; daughter, Stephanie Dawn Raum and husband Jack; and one cherished grandchild, Rigby Fricks.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Harmon and Louise Fricks; sister, Wanda Fricks; and brother, David Fricks.
He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strong work ethic, and the love he shared with those around him.
