

Hazel Francis Miller passed from this life on Thursday March 3, 2011, at her home in Lubbock, Texas. She was born February 09, 1916, in Roston of Cooke County Texas, to James Curtis Wright and Annie Wright Of three brothers and one sister, all deceased, she was the youngest. She was married to Eugene V Miller in Electra, Texas on January 06,1935, by Tillet S. Teddlie in a double ring ceremony with Rose Lee Lewis her long time girl friend and Eugene’s identical twin brother D Miller. Her Husband passed from this life on December 10, 1994, in Lubbock, Texas. She had two daughters. Lavora Jean Miller of Lubbock, Texas, and Sherry Marie Fandrich of Grand Juction, Colorado. She was a dedicated wife, mother and housekeeper and worked in San Antonio on instruments for the Silent Wings (gliders) during World War II and later retired from the Amarillo Independent School District. She lived in Amarillo, Texas, for many years prior to moving to Lubbock in 1990 to be closer to her daughter. She and her husband liked to travel during their retirement years. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by Lavora and Robert Miller and Sherry and Joe Fandrich; Plus nine Grandchildren: Scarlett Reynolds of Lewisville TX, Robin Miller, Brett Miller, and Kris Miller of Lubbock TX, Mandy Huddleston of Fairbanks AK, and Molly Yacks of Denver CO. She had seven Great Grandchildren; Reagan, Brittany, Sean, Derrick, Kassie, Courtney, Cody and Kalie. She will also be missed by three of her dearest nieces, Jerry Dee Jones, Charlotte Carnes, & Debbie Miller, that called and visited her often.
It is suggested that memorials be made to The Sunset International Bible Institute at Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock, TX.
