Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East.
Helen was born August 10, 1932 in Borger, TX. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1951, the first member of her family to graduate from high school. Helen worked at Maywood for 37 years, retiring in 1995. She loved two things: her family and her Texas Rangers, win or lose.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Velma Morgan, sisters Imogene Collins and Anna Belle Morgan, and son Jim Purcell.
She is survived by her daughters, Schelia Comer and Carol Purcell of Amarillo and granddaughter Laci Comer of Louisville, KY.
