Helen Stark Davis Roth passed away September 6, 2016 after a short illness. She was born tenth of thirteen children to George and Margaret Stark on March 20, 1919 in Pueblo, Colorado. At the age of four the family relocated to a farm outside Delta, Colorado. She was the first in her family to graduate from Delta High School in 1937. She went on to attend Mesa College in Grand Junction, Colorado, where she met her husband George Davis. Her greatest joy came from working in the garden. She worked many jobs in her life; the last 25 years of her life were spent working for Public Service Company, retiring in 1984. Helen was preceded in death by her husband George and also her second husband J.D. Roth of Fruita, Colorado along with all of her siblings. For the last 22 years, she resided in Amarillo.
She is survived by her children Donald Davis and wife Barbara; Diana McLeod; Laura Micek and husband Leonard; Mary Van Leer and husband Will. 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
