A celebration of J.T.’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10am in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40 with Pastor John Watson presiding.
J.T. was born April 26, 1932 to parents James Truett Sr. and Imogene Albert in Amarillo, TX. J.T. was a graduate of Amarillo High School and attended their monthly socials as often as health would allow.
He was a member of the Air Force, serving as an air traffic controller in the Korean War. After his military service, J.T. had a successful career in the professional transportation industry in various driving and teaching roles.
J.T. was preceded in death by his parents James Truett Sr and Imogene Albert, and his great-grandson Jeremiah Dennis. He is survived by his three children, James Lloyd Albert of Dallas, Mary Ann Dennis
of Amarillo. Teresa Albert of Bedford, Texas; brother Don Albert of Amarillo; granddaughters Tiffany Gerken of York, Nebraska, Amanda Lacy and Kara Barrow of Amarillo, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. J.T. was loved my many friends in the Amarillo community.
