Janna married the love of her life, Fred, on May 16, 1964, at the age of 16. She loved to tell the story of how she and Fred snuck off to the justice of the peace in the middle of the night to wed. They raised their girls in Shreveport, LA and moved to Colorado in 1991 where they both found their love for the Rocky Mountains. Janna devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. After Fred’s passing, she could often be found volunteering at the local elementary school where she spent countless hours reading to local school children. Janna spent her final years in Amarillo with family.
A special thank you to Janna’s dear friend, Jennifer Haning, who became a blessing to Janna in her final year of life. Jennifer loved her “Sweet Janna” and Janna loved her back.
Proverbs 31:25 “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”
