Jay attended school in House, N.M. then entered the United States Air Force in May 1960. He was honorably discharged after serving his country for 3 years 4 months and 5 days. Jay drove a truck for several years until his retirement.
Jay is preceded in death by his parents; sister Rueline Devenport; and a brother Lloyd Kriling.
He is survived by his sons; Jay Jr and wife Noelle; Scott Dickerman and wife Bett; and daughter Diane Dickerman. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
