Jere M. Lawrence was born April 29, 1925 in Isabel, Kansas to Jere and Hattie Lawrence. He proudly served his county in the United States Navy during WW II, and later served 10 years with US Army Reserves reaching the rank of Captain. He loved spending time with family, they were very important to him. He was employed as a Federal Employee for 25 years for US Air Force. He enjoyed camping, traveling, learning and playing trivia, but his passion was bowling. He bowled on “Never Too Old” bowling league for over 30 years. He was a loving and caring man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Dorothy Lawrence; a son George Patrick Lawrence; and a grandson James Lawrence.
He is survived by his children Jere Don Lawrence and wife Sylvia; Becky Carr and husband Marvin and Deborah Brock and husband Charles Curry. Five grandchildren and Eight Great grandchildren. Along with many loving friends.
