Visitation will take place between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 5400 Bell. Interment will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 28, 2018 in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Garden of Everlasting Love. A celebration of Jerry's life will follow at 2:00pm in the Griggs Schooler Gordon Pioneer Chapel.
Jerry was born on December 20, 1942 in Amarillo, Texas to Lester "LC" and Jewel Bohanan. He was a graduate of Tascosa High School, and would later earn his Bachelors Degree from West Texas A & M University. His job as a computer analyst took him on travels all over the world. His passion was music. He excelled at many instruments, but his favorite was the acoustic guitar.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jo B. Dickinson, and two nieces Misty Knox and Kathy Bohanan. Those left to cherish his memory are his brother Ronal "Ron" Bohanan and wife Marty of Amarillo, one nephew and two nieces; as well as many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Jerry.
