Joe was born on October 30, 1928 in Idalou to Jose and Feliciana Rivera. He served his country in the United States Army. He met the love of his life Virginia and they married on August 5, 1955. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.The family would like to thank Eva Parks for all of the loving care she provided to Joe and the family in their time of need.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife four brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his children Ray Hurtado and wife Dani; Debra Rivera, Michael Rivera; Gabriel Rivera and wife Melissa and Raphael Rivera. A sister Mary Leos. Three grandchildren Raquel Dominguez; Anthony Rivera and wife Miranda; Matthew Rivera and wife Oneka. Seven great grandchildren Jezlynne, Maddie and Sebastian Dominguez, Mason, Joseph, and Daniel Rivera, and Kathryn Hurtado. Many other loving family members.
