John Darryl McLain of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on June 27, 1970, to Darryl and Linda McLain, John was a beautiful soul who brought joy to everyone around him.
He was known for his kind heart, radiant smile, and uplifting spirit. John had a gift for making others feel seen and loved—every person he met quickly became a friend. His happiness was contagious, and his presence lit up every room.
John is preceded in death by his father, Darryl McLain; his grandparents, L.C. and Marguerite McLain, and Bill and Paula Harman.
He is survived by his loving mother, Linda McLain; his sister, Amy McLain; and her husband, Mike Webb. John will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and light he shared so generously.
