Johnny Lee Brown 68, of Amarillo passed away May 26, 2018. He was born October 2, 1949 in Memphis, Texas to Jack and Ruby Brown. He proudly served his country for 38 years in the Army National Guard. He married the love of his life Susan Hemby on June 6, 1969; together they had two daughters Jana and Amy. He was a hardworking man who loved god and his family. His children and grandchildren knew that they could count on him no matter what. He was always quick to lend a hand, never asking for anything in return. In his free time Johnny enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling and playing golf but most of all spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronnie.
He is survived by his loving wife Susan; his daughter’s Jana Tristan and husband Joe; Amy Brown and husband Don. Grandchildren Drew Pearson, Erica Kelley, Tavia Brown, Tiara Kelley, Mark (MJ) Kelley, Taryn Jordan and Tori Jordan. Great grandchild Reese Kelley. One sister Jackie Boddye and husband Mike and a sister-in-law Karen Goodson and Della Brown.
