Johnny Ray Newberry

April 13, 1954July 28, 2020

Johnny Newberry went to heaven to see his Lord July, 28, 2020.

He was born in Amarillo April, 13, 1954 to H.L. and Rose Newberry who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brothers Larry, Ronnie and Dennis Newberry. Johnny had a good life, always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. Johnny sacked groceries for 30 years at United and Alberton’s where he enjoyed his work and showed up ready to serve others. Johnny square danced and bowled for many years. He is walking on the streets of gold in heaven.

We are thankful and blessed by the care given to him by BSA Hospice of the Southwest. Johnny will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Uncle Ronnie
My memories of you are so good from the times we visited grandpa and grandma. As we grew we didnt see you as often but the memories remain. I know you are at peace now and with grandpa and grandma

My thoughts and prayers are with you Dad, Uncle Dennis, and Uncle Larry. I wish I could be with you all today, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers,
