Mrs. Griego was born in Brownsville and raised in Clovis, N.M. She married Floyd M. Griego in 1951 in Clovis. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2004. After they married, they moved to Amarillo.
Mrs. Griego was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she was a Guadalupana. She moved to San Angelo in 2004. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Griego enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and taking walks.
She also was preceded in death by two stepsons and a stepdaughter.
Survivors include a son, Aniseto Ernest Cantu of San Angelo; four stepsons, Julian, Cipriano, Felipe and Rodney Griego, all of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Janice Griego of Amarillo; and numerous grandchildren
