Katherine Hortenstine

Katherine Hortenstine was born November 4, 1924 in Pueblo, Colorado to Fred and Margaret Miller. She married Mark Hortenstine and together they had three children. Her family was very important to her. She enjoyed pottery making, painting and playing the accordion in a band. She was a Sunday school teacher and a Girl Scout leader for many years. She had a heart of gold and loved caring for others. Katherine worked alongside her husband on the ranch for many years. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to your favorite charity.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Mark.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Janet Speich and husband David; Martha Jane Hooper and husband Barry and Margaret Hortenstine. Her grandchildren Ryan Hooper; Aaron Hooper; Mark Mendoza; Michael Mendoza; Randall Speich and Lynn Speich. Great grandchildren; Jacob, Rylan, Trayson, Eleanor, Edison, Archer and Reagan.
