Hi Mom,

I can’t believe you’ve been gone 10 years now. We are watching one of your favorite movies I haven’t seen in years and it has me thinking a lot about how my different my life would be if you were still here.

My beautiful little blue-eyed sister, I miss you so badly. I always thought somehow we would run and play together again. My mind is flooded with memories of us as children playing with our Barbies, Pokey and Gumby and our Silly Putty on the Sunday paper comics. I can vividly see us laying in bed at nap time with Momma and trying to sneak off the bed and her singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" to us and "No One Loves Me Anymore".  Each time I look out at the water I see us sitting on the dock at Howardwick and you putting a worm on your hook "Catfish Kathy". Somehow time and life tore our family apart and we all scattered. But know this my darling baby sister, we will be together as a family again and no one or nothing will split our family. 

I want to thank John Hillhouse and his family for loving my little sister and caring for her. John, my sister loved you so much. All she wanted was to stay in that house and be with you and Momma's memories. Thank you for letting her live her life the way she wanted.

So very sorry for your loss, Justin.  I am a friend of Vena and just recently found out about Kathy's passing.  My thoughts and prayers to you and the family.

We thought of you with love today. But is nothing new.We thought about you yesterday.And days before that too.We think of you in silence.We often speak your name.Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame. your memory is our keepsake. With which we will never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart....

Aunt Kathy I love you more than you probably ever knew. You were always so beautiful. I hope there is lots of hair care products & facial creams in heaven because you loved those things so much. You will forever be in my heart!

I remember our first visit and you telling me that you always knew Justin would find someone to love. I am so thankful that it is me. I have enjoyed getting to know you and finally saying goodbye after a short six years. Trips to Amarillo will never be the same for me and it was very sad leaving today. Justin loves you dearly as do I. Just like I told you shortly before you passed, I promise that your baby boy will be taken care of. I love him and hope to honor your memory well and the respect you gave our relationship. I will miss you Momma Potter.
