

Mr. Price was born on July 21, 1943, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Arthur and Maxine Webb Price. He was raised in Virginia Beach, Va., During the 1960s, Larry served as a flagman on the USS Independence. He moved to Amarillo in 1974 from Battle Creek, Mich.
Mr. Price married Julie Harrel in 1978 in Amarillo. His nearly 30-year career as a truck driver started with Jack B. Kelley in 1978. At the time of his retirement in 2007 he was working for Central Freight Lines. Mr. Price enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids. He also enjoyed putting up flagpoles for his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Price of Amarillo; two sons, Robert Harrel Jr. and wife LeaAnn of Elk City, Okla., and Tony Harrel and wife Nancy Browning of Coleridge, Neb.; three daughters, Lorinda Macdonald of Battle Creek, Mich., Susan Terrell and husband Rick of Russellville, Ark., and Shannon Craig and husband Arthur of Leedey, Okla.; a sister, Dianna Miller of Chesapeake, Va.; his stepfather, Harry Holland of Brookneal, Va.; two stepsisters; a stepbrother; 14 grandchildren, Jessica, Kerstin, Stormi, Penny, Jeff, Kristin, Justin, Mathew, Racheal, Keegan, Chance, Logan, Levi and Jake; and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Cole and Ali.
The family suggest memorials be to a favorite charity.
