Laura Duncan

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel with the Rev. Pablo Garcia officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Laura was born Feb. 22, 1966, in Hereford to Kenneth and Aseneth Duncan. She graduated from Hereford High School. Laura loved sports, both watching and participating, as she played basketball for Special Olympics. One cannot put Laura into words, her personality was so big. She just loved everyone and everything.

Laura was preceded in death by her mother; her grandmother, Isabel Cabrera; and her grandfather, Jose Cabrera.

Survivors include three brothers, Aaron Cabrera of San Antonio, Raymond Duncan and Kenneth Duncan Jr., both of Amarillo; a sister, JoAnn Duncan of Amarillo; an aunt, Frances Cabrera-Perez and husband Jose M. of Amarillo; three cousins, A. Cody Perez, AnaMarisa Perez and Bianca Perez-Higgs and husband Kyle, all of Amarillo; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
