I went to church and high school with Lavonna. She truly loved the Lord, her family, and pets! I enjoyed getting together with her when I would come down to Amarillo to visit.

She was also a good Facebook Friend, across the miles. She will be greatly missed!

Goodbye, my Sweet Friend. In life, we have a lot of acquaintances but we learn so few (friends). That is just what Lavonna was, a REAL TRUE FRIEND. Through the last 40 years, we didn't see a lot of each other in person but we always held each other in our hearts. She was a wonderful sweet caring person and I will miss her but my heart is happy for her. I know she is with Ernie, her one true Love, and her heart is happy again. How wonderful to meet Jesus and all of your loved ones again. I know you hated to leave the boys, but know that Jesus will watch over them & keep them & their families safe.
You will be greatly missed my friend, but I will have only good memories of our friendship and hold your wonderful smile in my heart.
Until we meet again, Enjoy your beautiful home in Heaven!!
Love You Ginger

What a Lady!
Lavonna ALWAYS had a compliment for me or my family. We laughed and had fun visiting so many times.. We just picked back up where we left off.
I have never met anyone like her.
So beautiful and fun.
I really feel blessed beyond that we were friends. Truly one of my favorite people. Love and prayer to the family.
Iam so proud you are her sweetness and her joy.
I love you and will be thinking of you.
Lots of Love ~Ali
