

Lee Robinson, age 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at her residence in Katy, Texas. She was born on November 14, 1928, in Russellville, Arkansas, to Horace H. Smith and Olie Belle Nash. Lee was the 12th of 14 children. On May 16, 1949, she married the love of her life, Bill Robinson. Together, they had two sons, Michael and Steve. Lee and her family lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before settling in Amarillo, Texas, where she spent the majority of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, her beloved husband Bill, and her son Michael. Lee will be remembered for her love of gathering with family and friends. She had a kind heart, a warm spirit, and a strong faith. A lifelong member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, we rejoice knowing she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her son Steve Robinson and his wife Sandra of Katy, TX; grandchildren Stacy Celey and her husband Mike of Amarillo, TX; Matthew Robinson and his wife Cristal of Charlotte, NC; Brett Robinson and his wife Rebecca of Richmond, TX; and Kirk Robinson and his wife Britany of Houston, TX. Lee was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. A private burial will be held at Memorial Park Mausoleum. A visitation will be held June 23 at Memorial Park from 5-7pm.
