Leland Kent Lane

Leland “Kent” Lane , 54, passed away at his home in Amarillo surrounded by family. He was born May 10, 1961 in Hugoton, Ks to Rex and Cherry Lane, the fourth of seven children. Leland grew up in Moscow and Ulysses, Ks and moved to Wilburton, Ok in 1978. He served his country for seven years in the US Navy. In 2000, he married Madeline Sandoval. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Leland was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sara Henson and a brother, Tony Lane.

Leland is survived by his wife, Madeline; three sons, Ryan, Nathan and Jacob Lane and wife Jody, all of Amarillo; a very special little girl, Jordan, that the couple had full guardianship of since she was just a few days old, he was her special Pa Pa; two step-daughters, Mandy Kimball and Ashley Saliva, both of Amarillo; Leland’s in-laws, Paul and Margaret Sandoval; two brothers, Rex Steve Lane and wife Hilary of Rochester, Mn. and Brad Lane of Littlerock, Ark; two sisters, Lynette Hickman and husband Darrel of Ulysses, Ks., and Lorie Boyd of Hot Springs, Ark.; six grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate monetary donations in Leland’s name be made to Happy State Bank, 2614 S. Georgia St. Amarillo, Tx.
