Leon Green, born on February 19, 1943, in Mifay, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his two beloved sons, Rocky Green and Mark Green, as well as his brothers, John Green and Jim Green. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Jeanette Green, and his brother, David Green.
Leon was a man of many talents and passions, beginning his career as an electrician. In 1968, Leon and his family moved to Gillette, Wyoming, where he established his own electrical contracting business. Through hard work and dedication, he grew his business into the largest electrical contractor in the state of Wyoming.
However, as successful as his business was, Leon’s heart was ultimately led by faith. Feeling a strong call to ministry, he left Wyoming, trusting that God would guide his next steps. True to his faith, Leon lived his life as a testament to the power of trusting in God's direction, relying on Him every step of the way. His unwavering belief in God’s provision allowed him to face life's challenges with grace and perseverance.
Leon’s legacy lives on not only in the work he accomplished in his professional life, but also in the lives he touched through his ministry. He will be remembered for his deep faith, his dedication to his family, and his commitment to helping others.
