

Lillia Walker born Lillia Eva Archbold May 3rd 1933 in Cali, Columbia to Alejandro Archbold and Estella Verlisky Robinson. She was the youngest of nine brothers. She was raised by the ocean for her early years and would often relay stories of the beautiful beaches to her grandchildren. The family moved to Panama City where Lillia attended Catholic boarding school and had many fond memories of watching the ships come in and out of the busy port. Lillia married Angelo Sagnimeni in 1951 and emigrated to the United States through Ellis Island in 1952. The couple stationed in South Carolina, where they welcomed their first child Martin Sagnimeni. Lillia and Angelo moved to California in 1953 where they had Rose Marie Sagnimeni followed by Johnny Sagnimeni 1956. Lillia remarried a servicemen from Texas in California 1959. Lillia and her husband Jack Stafford had Janice Marie in California in 1960. The the family then moved to Amarillo Texas where Stephen Stafford was born in 1963. Lillia remarried James Walker in Amarillo approximate 1971 and where they made there home.
Lilia was known for her excellent cooking and baking, she was an amateur cookbook collector. She was a tidy homemaker, with spotless floors. She was an avid reader and encouraged her children and grandchildren to higher education. Lilia loved taking care of children in her later years and was often seen with a baby in her arms. She was an infamous spoiler of babies and grandchildren. Lillia was also an established seamstress, making all of her children's clothes, wedding dresses, quilts, and other necessities like Barbie clothes. Lillia also loved to travel. James and Lillia spent many happy years taking cross-country trips with they're little pop-up camper. Above all Lilia loved and enjoyed being around her family. Many weekends and nearly every holiday were spent in there cozy house on Bivens having family get-togethers or the grandchildren over.
GG, as she became known to her closest grandchildren, was commissioned to be a spoiler of grandchildren. If you've met any of the grandkids, you will soon realize she did an excellent job. Lillia was a remarkable woman with a loving heart and a fiery temper and will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many friends.
Lillia was preceded in death by her beloved husband James "Papa" Walker in 2008, her son Steven Scott Stafford in 1980 and her son Martin Wayne Sagnimeni in 2013.
Lillia is survived by her daughter Rose Marie Hollis of Amarillo,TX. Son Johnny Sagnimeni of Odessa, TX. Daughter Janice Albracht of Amarillo, TX. 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
